One of the many great things about being in our rural setting is the beautiful outdoor play spaces we have. Recently the woods and grassy areas near our school inspired some of our older students to start building forts during their recess play time. Their example led many other students to get involved and now the wooded area north of the school has some amazing forts.
What our school community can be proudest of is the way the students were safe, cooperative and collaborative in their fort building projects. The initiative they showed was wonderful!
